TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1 – San Francisco / Chengdu
Depart San Francisco for a pleasant flight via Asiana Airlines to Chengdu, capital city of the southwest province of Sichuan.
Day 2 – Chengdu
Arrive at night in Chengdu, also known as the “Country of Heaven” (天府之国, ), a phrase also often translated as ” The Land of Abundance”. You will be greeted and transferred to InterContinental Hotel or Crown-Plaza Hotel or similar hotel for rest. Welcome Dinner in the evening.
Day 3 – Chengdu / Jiu Zhai Gou
This morning starts with a city tour of Du Fu Cottage & Chengdu Research Based of Giant Panda Breeding before flight out to Jiu Zha Gou. Check-in at Jiuzhaigou Sheraton Hotel & enjoy the special performance of Tibetan folk dance. (B.L.D.)
Day 4 – Jiu Zhai Gou
Full day tour in this beautiful natural spectacular wonderful scenery of Ziu Zhai Gou. Remain staying for the night at Jiuzhaigou Sheraton Hotel. (B.L.D.)
Day 5 – Jiu Zhai Gou / Yellow Dragon / Chengdu
This morning take 3.5 hours by deluxe motor coach to Yellow Dragon with more than 3,000 years of history and natural scenery where we will visit the Spring and Golden Sand Beach, then fly back to Chengdu in the evening and stay at the InterContinental Hotel or Crown-Plaza Hotel or same class hotel. Day 6 – Chengdu / Leshan / Emeishan (Mt. Emei)
This morning coach to Leshan known for the world’s largest sitting Buddha, carved out of the River Bank, also the world’s largest measuring out to about 210 ft. high. You will take a boat cruise to visit the Leshan Grand Buddha then continue to Emeishan (Mt. Emei), one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China and traditionally regarded as the place of enlightenment. At 3,099 meters (10,167 ft), Mt. Emei is the highest of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountain of China which are Mt. Tai; Mt. Hua; Mt. Heng & Mt. Song. Stay at the Hua Sheng Hot Spring Hotel (5-star), or Hong Zhu Shan Hotel (5-star) or same class hotel (B.L.D.)
Day 7 – Emeishan
Today’s tour features the Golden Summit of Emeishan by cable car, a visit to the Baoguo Temple and the Fuhu Temple at the mountain. (B.L.D.)
Day 8 – Emeishan / Chengdu / Yichang
After breakfast, take a late morning flight to Yichang. Upon arrival, you will be met and have a short city tour of Yichang. You will be on board the MV Century Diamond Cruise ship after dinner. (B.L.D.)
Day 9 – Sailing on Yangtze River / Three Gorges Dam Site
Depart from Yichang, sail into Xiling Gorge in the morning. Shore Excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, afterwards the five-step ship locks in the afternoon. Captain’s Welcome Party in the early evening, a Crew Cabaret after welcome dinner. (B.L.D.)
Day 10 – Yangtze River Cruising / Dancing River “Lesser Three Gorges”
Wu Gorge, excursion to Lesser Three Gorges of Dancing River, Qutang Gorge. Optional tour to the White Emperor City in the afternoon. **optional tour additional charge RMB$240.00/person (B.L.D.)
Day 11 – Yangtze River Cruising / Fengdu Snow Jade Cave
Land excursion to Fengdu: Snow Jade Cave, cultural programs onboard, farewell dinner and settlement in the evening. (B.L.D.)

Day 12: Chinese Sturgeon Museum and Gezhou Dam

Day 12 – Yangtze River End / Chongqing
Arrive Chongqing in the morning at 8:30a.m. Then disembark around 10:00a.m. You will be met and have a short city tour of Chongqing after lunch. Enjoy the special local cuisine in the evening. Stay at JW Marriott Hotel or InterContinental Hotel for rest. (B.L.D.)
Day 13 – Chongqing / Shanghai
Take a late morning flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be met and visit the Old Town with The Bund before transferring to the Ramada Plaza Gateway Shanghai for some rest. Farewell Dinner in the evening.
Day 14 – Shanghai / San Francisco
After breakfast in the hotel, bid farewell to the Orient. Then return to the United States via Asiana Airlines or United Airlines, re-crossing the International Date Line for the same day arrival. (B.L.D.)
