Scheduled Itinerary:
Day 1: (June 5, 2017) San Francisco / Beijing
Depart San Francisco aboard Jumbo jetliner for a pleasant flight to Beijing.
Day 2: (June 6, 2017) Beijing
Evening arrival in Beijing-the capital city of China, you will be met and transfer to the Beijing Capital Hotel or similar hotel for rest.
Day 3: (June 7, 2017) Beijing
Tour this historic city with special visit to the Forbidden City; Tiananmen Square; the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. Visit the night market after dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 4: (June 8, 2017) Beijing
Enjoy a full day tour to The Great Wall-one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the Ming Tombs. You will also view the famous Olympics stadium “Bird’s Nest” and “Water Cube”. In the evening, enjoy the Peking Dinner (B/L)
Day 5: (June 9, 2017) Beijing – Xian
Late morning flight to Xian-once the largest city in the world and paradigm of imperial splendor. Upon arrival, transfer to the Grand Noble Hotel or similar for our stay in Xian before visit Wild Goose Pagoda. (B/L)
Day 6: (June 10, 2017) Xian
Today discover the treasures of this region with a full day tour to the Qin Tomb excavation famous for the Terra Cotta Warriors. Also visit the archaeological ruins of Ban Bo Village. At last, we will visit the Jade Factory. Enjoy the special Cuisine of Steam Dumping Banquet in the evening. (B/L/D)
Day 7: (June 11, 2017) Xian – Shanghai
Take a last look at this great archeological city of City Wall, and depart for Shanghai-one of the China’s most modern city. Upon arrival, transfer to Majesty Plaza Hotel or similar for a pleasant evening. (B/L)
Day 8: (June 12, 2017) Shanghai
After breakfast in the hotel, your full day tour start from Zhongshan Road is a wide, tree-lined avenue along the Huanpu River till you reach the Bund-once the exclusive domain of the Western power. The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, the China’s Foreign Trade Corp., the Clock Tower, etc. are all good contrast to U.S. Metropolitan environment. A visit to the Worker’s Residential area and the Jade Buddha Temple (with its two rare statues of Buddha, each carved out of a single piece of White Jade from Burma) then continue to Yu Garden, in the evening enjoy the famous Chinese Acrobatic Show. Day 9: (June 13, 2017) Shanghai (or Optional tour of Zhouzhuang)
After breakfast in the hotel, have a free day to explore in Shanghai or optional tour to Zhouzhuang, which is well known for its beautiful environment and simple architecture. Although more than 900 years have passed, its architectural style is still well preserved. More than 60 percent of the residential houses were built during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, consisting of nearly 100 classic courtyards and 60 carved brick archways. Day 10: (June 14, 2017) Shanghai – Guangzhou
Depart for Guangzhou by the morning flight to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, you will have a city tour of Yue Xiu Park, Five-Goat Sculpture and Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. Enjoy the Sucking Pig Dinner in the evening. Stay at the Garden Hotel or similar Hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 11: (June 15, 2017) Guangzhou – Taishan
This morning you will take coach to Taishan and upon arrival in Taishan, you will visit your Ancestor House before transfer to Taishan Country Garden Phoenix Hotel or similar. (B)
Day 13: (June 16, 2017) Taishan – Hong Kong
Today you will be taken the early afternoon Catamaran from Taishan to Hong Kong, upon arrival, you will be met and transfer to Langham Place hotel for rest. (B.)
Day 14: (June 17, 2017) Hong Kong – San Francisco
Today bid farewell to the Orient then return to the United States via Cathay Pacific Airways, re-crossing the International Date Line for the same day arrival or if you wish, you can extend your stay in Hong Kong and return to San Francisco.
