Scheduled Itinerary for this Tour:
Day 1 – San Francisco/Beijing
Depart San Francisco for a pleasant flight to Beijing Via United Airlines.
Day 2 – Beijing
Arrive Beijing-the capital city of China in the evening and transfer to Capital Hotel for a nice rest or you can explore the city by night.
Day 3 – Beijing/Hohhot
Morning flight to Hohhot (means “Green city”)-the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Hohhot was founded in 1581 by a group of nomads known as the Tumet, it is located on the Tumet Plain bordering on the Yellow River at the southern foot of the Mt. Daqing. Upon arrival, Visit the Zhao Jun’s Tomb, the Da Zhao Lamasery Temple, then transfer to one of the best hotel for rest. (B/L/D)
Day 4 – Hohhot
Trip to the Xilamuren Grassland via the lofty Yinshan Mountains, tasting Mongolian flavor-finger mutton, riding horse, visiting Mongolian family, and the Aobao hill where Mongolians pray for happy life, watching horse-racing and wrestling performances, enjoying Mongolian songs and dances or bonfire party at night. Day 5 – Hohhot/Baotou
Watching sunrise in the morning, back to Hohhot, visiting the Five Pagoda Temple and the Inner Mongolia Museum, Trip to Baotou city-is known as the “steel city of the grasslands.” It is Inner Mongolia’s largest city and sits between the Mt. Daqing to the north and the Yellow River to the south. Stay at the best hotel in Baotou. (B/L/D)
Day 6 – Baotou
A one-day excursion will take you to visit the Genghis Khan’s Mausoleum in the morning, then visit the Mysterious Restaurant Sand Gorge in the afternoon, including riding camels on the desert and visit the Yellow River Bridge, then back to Baotou City. (B/L/D)
Day 7 – Baotou/Beijing
Leave for Beijing. Upon arrival, transfer to Capital Hotel for leisure. (B/L)
Day 8 – Beijing/San Francisco
